Ingredients
1/2 cup fat-free milk
1/2 cup nonfat plain Greek yogurt
1 cup baby spinach
1 medium banana (6.5 oz. with skin, 7 inches long.)
1 cup strawberries
1 Tbsp. creamy peanut butter
(We used Smart Balance Creamy Peanut & Flaxseed Oil Spread.)
1 Tbsp. PB Fit Peanut Butter Powder

2 Tbsp. vanilla protein powder
(We used GNC Pro Performance 100% Whey Vanilla Cream.)
2 Tbsp. sugar-free syrup
(We used Cary's Sugar Free Low Calorie Syrup.)
This started out as a protein shake with peanut butter and jelly, and evolved as we worked on reducing the fat and sugar.
In this final version, we used a tablespoon of peanut butter and mixed it in with a tablespoon of PB Fit peanut butter powder. That gave us the great taste and protein with far less fat. We skipped the jelly and added whole fruits for a delicious drink.
