1 cup unsweetened almond milk
(We used Blue Diamond Almond Breeze Unsweetened Vanilla.)
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1 Tbsp. instant coffee
1 packet no sugar added cocoa mix
(We used Swiss Miss No Sugar Added Hot Cocoa Mix packet, 0.55 oz. envelope.)
1 small banana (about 5.5 oz. with skin.)
1 scoop (1/3 cup) vanilla or chocolate protein powder
(We used GNC Pro Performance 100% Whey Vanilla Cream Protein Powder.)
1 pinch of salt
1 cup of ice
3 Tbsp. sugar free caramel
(We used Smucker's Sugar Free Caramel Topping.)
1 Tbsp. Splenda, stevia or Swerve blended in
whipped cream topping
This coffee and caramel shake is great to wake up to in the morning, or to build muscle after a workout.
1. Put all the ingredients in a blender and mix about 1 minute, until thoroughly combined.
Yield: 2 Servings, Serving Size about 2 Cups Each
