Ingredients
1 cup unsweetened almond milk
1 packet low sugar cocoa mix
(We used Swiss Miss LIGHT Hot Cocoa Mix.)
1 scoop (1/3 cup) Protein powder
(We used GNC 100% Whey Protein Powder Vanilla.)
1/2 a medium banana (Full banana is 6.5 ounces with skin)
3/4 Tbsp. smooth peanut butter
(We used Smart Balance Creamy Peanut Butter.)
2-3 large ice cubes
Drink this as a meal replacement when you're on the run. After a workout you can split it and keep half in the refrigerator for the next day. The flavors combine and make a shake that tastes more like a dessert.
1. Put all the ingredients in a blender and mix about 1 or 2 minutes, until thoroughly combined. Divide and store half in the refrigerator if you're looking for less calories. Can store up to 2 days in refrigerator if covered.
