Ingredients
1 can (12.5 oz.) reduced sodium chunk white chicken, drained
2 cups Romaine lettuce, chopped into strips
4 oz. (about 1 cup) cherry tomatoes, finely chopped
4 Tbsp. creamy Caesar salad dressing
(We used Bolthouse Farms Creamy Caesar Yogurt Dressing & Dip.)
1/3 cup Parmesan cheese, shredded
2 hoagie rolls (About 94 grams or 3.3 oz. each), split and toasted
1/2 tsp. black pepper, ground
Caesar salad walked into a hoagie roll and never looked back. This isn't a sandwich trying to be healthy. It's a salad that got tired of being eaten with a fork. Canned chicken, chopped Romaine, cherry tomatoes, shredded Parm, and a creamy Caesar dressing. It's all piled onto a toasted hoagie roll in about 10 minutes. No cooking. No excuses.
1. In a large bowl, combine all the ingredients EXCEPT the pepper.

2. If you're toasting the hoagie rolls, preheat oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit. Cut the rolls in half and bake them in the oven for 5-8 minutes, depending on how crispy you want them.

3. Divide salad mix between the two open faced hoagie rolls, sprinkle pepper over the top to taste and enjoy.

You can store the salad mix in an airtight container in the refrigerator up to 24 hours.
