Ingredients

2 Tbsp. (.5 oz.) plain gelatin

4 Tbsp. cold water

1 cup boiling water

2 tsp. lemon juice

1 cup lower sugar orange juice
(We used Tropicana Trop50 Pulp Free reduced sugar orange juice.)

1 cup Splenda
(We used the box that measures cup for cup like sugar.)

1 container (8 oz.) sugar free whipped topping
(We used Sugar Free Cool Whip.)

3 cups chopped strawberries

Strawberry Frosting - LOW SUGAR

1. Put the gelatin into a large mixing bowl. Add the 4 tablespoons of cold water and mix it together. Then pour a cup of boiling water over top and mix it all together.

2. Stir in the lemon juice, orange juice and Splenda. Now use a whisk and mix in the container of Cool Whip.

3. Clean the strawberries and cut them up into small pieces. Then fold the strawberries into the frosting mixture. Cover and put it in the refrigerator for an hour so it will set.

4. When angel food cake is cool, cover it with the strawberry frosting mixture. You can serve it right away, or cover the cake and put in the refrigerator for a party the next day.
