Ingredients
4 pork chops, top loin (about 2.25 lbs.)
1 jar (16 oz.) shredded sauerkraut, drained
1 cup onion, chopped
1 medium (about 7 oz. whole) granny smith apple, cored and chopped
2 Tbsp. dijon mustard
1 packet (4 g. per packet) Herb ox sodium free Chicken Bouillon
1 bottle (12 fl. Oz.) non-alcoholic beer
(We used O'Doul's.)
1 Tbsp. Splenda Brown Sugar Blend
1. Place the pork chops on the bottom of a 4-5 quart crock pot.
2. In a separate bowl mix together the remaining ingredients. Then pour everythig over top of the pork chops.
3. Cover and cook on high for 4-5 hours. Be careful when serving, the meat will literally fall off the bone so handle gently.4. Cover and cook on high for 3 hours or low for 6 hours. Sprinkle the parsley over the top about 20-30 minutes before the cook time is over.
Yield: 4 Servings
You can freeze individual portions for easy re-heating later.
Microwave for approximately 3-5 minutes, keeping the container open a little to allow steam to escape.
