Ingredients


1/2 cup carrot juice

1 cup lower sugar vanilla ice cream
(We used Breyers Carb Smart Vanilla Ice Cream.)

1/2 cup unsweetened vanilla almond milk

1/4 tsp. cinnamon, ground

1/4 tsp. ginger, ground

1 scoop (1/3 cup) protein powder
(We used GNC 100% Whey Protein Powder Vanilla.)

1 Tbsp. sugar free honey
(We used HoneyTree's Sugar Free Imitation Honey.)

Optional - fresh mint for garnish


Carrot juice, almond milk and a little ice cream, all mixed up together, end up tasting like a carrot cake. Make it with protein powder, low sugar ice cream and sugar free honey to get a dessert drink that's both delicious and great after a workout.

1. Put all the ingredients in a blender and mix about 1 or 2 minutes, until thoroughly combined.
