Ingredients



1/2 cup dry measure oatmeal, either dry OR cooked and cooled

2 Tbsp. sugar free syrup
(We used Cary's Sugar Free Syrup.)

1/4 tsp cinnamon, ground

1 scoop (1/3 cup) protein powder
(We used GNC Pro Performance 100% Whey Protein Vanilla Flavor.)

1 Tbsp. chopped almonds

1 cup fat free milk


There are three ways to make this shake, depending on how you want it.

1. FAST - Don't bother cooking the oatmeal. Simply mix all the ingredients together in a blender and drink.

2. SMOOTH - Cook the oatmeal first, then let it cool for 10 minutes and it'll mix together more thoroughly when you blend it.

3. WARM - Cook the oatmeal first, then heat up the milk in a microwave for 1 - 2 minutes. Combine all the ingredients in a blender while still hot and it makes a smooth, hot almond oatmeal protein shake.
