Ingredients


1 Slice turkey bacon
(We used Jennie-O Turkey Bacon.)

buttery cooking spray


EITHER
3 Whole large egg whites AND
1 Whole large egg
OR
3/4 cup fat free liquid egg substitute


3 Tbsp. fat free cheddar cheese, shredded

1 Tbsp. ketchup, low sugar


Want bacon and eggs but only have a microwave? Here's a bacon and eggs breakfast you can make in a mug that's ready in about 5 minutes.

1. Put the turkey bacon on a microwave safe plate, cover with a paper towel and cook on high (in 30-second intervals) until crisp. About 1.5 minutes.

2. Lightly coat a large microwave safe mug with buttery cooking spray. Whisk the eggs together and pour them into the mug OR simply add the egg substitute to the mug. Crumble and stir in the turkey bacon. Microwave on high for 1 minute.

3. Sprinkle the cheese over top and stir into the eggs. Microwave on high again for 30 seconds, until melted and the eggs are firm.

4. Serve with ketchup and enjoy.
