Ingredients


1/4 cup (about 8) sun-dried tomatoes in oil, drained and chopped

8 oz. fat free cream cheese, room temperature

1/2 cup fat free sour cream

1/2 cup fat free mayonnaise

1/4 tsp. Tabasco sauce

1 tsp. no salt
(Sodium Free Salt Substitute)

3/4 tsp ground black pepper

4 green onions, finely chopped (white and green parts)

Baked Tortilla Chips (1 oz. or 12 chips per serving)


1. Puree the tomatoes in a food processor. Then add the next six ingredients (cream cheese through black pepper) and process until blended. (You can do this with a blender too, start by chopping up the sun-dried tomatoes first, then blend until thoroughly combined.)

2. Quickly blend 1/2 the chopped green onion in (a couple of pulses on a food processor). Use the remaining ones for a garnish on top.

3. Serve with chips, or for an even healthier option use vegetables like cauliflower, broccoli, tomatoes, celery or carrots.

Yield: 8 Servings
